Dear Botschaft von Japan in Deutschland
I cannot write in German, so please excuse my poor English.
Mr. Tomohiro Hayashi, a freelance writer from Fukushima, says he is upset that "Zweites Deutsches Fernsehen" used the term "Fukushima" in a comedy about nuclear phase-out.

Perhaps this is the video.

My own impression of the same video was that it was a satire of humanity's stupidity in promoting nuclear power, and when I first saw it I was hardly offended.
I just watched the video again, and now that I look back at it, I find it rather poignant because it accurately captures the stupidity of those who support the LDP, who fall back on the "safety myth" for the sake of immediate profit, and who try to restart nuclear power plants even though there is no good evacuation plan in place.
Although it is not well expressed in this video, I think it is also true that urban people, who are the main consumers of electricity in Japan, generally discriminate against the countryside.
My father's ancestor is from Fukushima, and the damage in my beautiful town is similar.
Although I did not feel the same way as Mr. Hayashi, I have seen other people asking if the German Embassy has an opinion on this video, so I would be very interested to hear the official position of the Embassy.
Mr. Hayashi said that Germany was divided with Britain and other countries in its embassy's support for the disaster.
When I pointed out that the British Embassy's stance was probably based on the aristocratic frontline orientation of the former British Ambassador to Japan, Mr. David Warren, as well as the scientific views of the British government, Mr. Hayashi blocked my 𝕏 account.
I would also like to inform you that I had previously inquired at the British Embassy as to why their response was different from that of the German Embassy.
